Diljit like all lawyers,seemed a man with an attitude and an air of “I am busy”.
Till we got over the day long shoot.I realised that behind every personae there is a child.
Vulnerable,seeking another soul to share his secrets.Diljit was no different.Its just that if you haven’t known him enough he is a supreme court advocate.And if you manage to penetrate the shield,he is a joy for a company.
Diljit did not go to an elite law college to study law.
It was much later in life,perhaps,in his late forties,that he happened to embark on a carrer in law.
But he was one of the few lawyers that I had met who seemed content with what he had on table.
Unhurried,not acting smart to impress a client and not tempted to make a quick buck.
